After practicing various professions, Jacinto (Asdrúbal Melendez) decides to become a movie projectionist. This versatile man converts his truck into a travelling cinema shaped like a whale in order to bring films across Venezuela, sharing films with people in rural villages. El cine soy yo is one of the most representative films of Venezuelan cinema and a celebration of the power of cinema in the most unimaginable circumstances.
