Paintings of the Ascension are often curiously literal—feet dangling in the clouds, eyes turned heavenward. For centuries, artists of all kinds have wrestled with this moment: Christ departing, yet somehow more present than ever. The result is some of the most striking and puzzling work in the Christian imagination — music that soars, images that linger, rituals that point beyond themselves.
Come and experience a service full of ancient chant and drifting incense, rich in drama, symbolism, and mystery.
All welcome.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
