Jewellery crafted in wax has been around for a very long time and it involves carving a design into a specialised wax which is then cast in precious metals. Organic statement ring? Delicate wishbone ring? The options are endless.
During this workshop you will gain the skills to create your own unique ring, Shirley will lead you through a series of demos covering getting the right fit, shaping and forming and creating surface textures, such as granulation.
This workshop is suitable for complete beginners or for the jeweller that wants to expand their skill set. Jewellers wax is easy to work with and allows you to craft designs which might not be possible using silver sheet or wire.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
