Until recently, the average person might have thought Artificial Intelligence (AI) had something to do with sci-fi robots.
The last few years it’s hit the mainstream, most people have heard of ChatGPT and read speculations about how such innovations might impact the future of work. But AI has applications in all corners of society, including many positive impacts across the health and care space.
Health technology is evolving with AI advancements, and in this session, we’ll explore key research in this space alongside responsible approaches to AI development and deployment.
Join us for an open dialogue that welcomes everyone from experts to the curious - you don’t have to be a technical expert to join this session! AI and its applications are here to stay. This event aims to help you understand how it impacts our daily lives so you can critically engage as uses of AI evolve.
Panel:
Dr Alistair McConnell (Robotics and Healthcare)
Dr Marta Vallejo (Healthcare Machine Learning Expert)
Dr Alessandro Suglia (Natural Language Processing and GenAI Expert)
Camilla Irvine-Fortescue (Public Engagement Specialist and PhD researcher
Richard Palmer (Responsible AI Advocate & Early-Stage Founder)
