About Soul Stirring Strings
Indian classical music is deeply rooted in spirituality and is considered a path to self-discovery and enlightenment. It is believed to connect the listener to the divine, and to the cosmic order and vibrations of the universe.
This intimate concert will feature Diptesh Bhattacharya on sarod, accompanied by Sanjib Pal on tabla and local artist Dave Beards on pakhawaj.
Sanjib Kumar Pal is an established tabla player from Kolkata; Dave Beards has been playing and promoting Indian music in Scotland for over 20 years.
