A Laldie Ceilidh is at the heart of a great Saturday night and this month we're dancing with live music from Rerr Terr Ceilidh Band at the Assembly Roxy on 17th May!
About Laldie Ceilidh featuring Rerr Terr Ceilidh Band
This is suitable for all fun-loving people, including first-timers. You don't need to do the dances "right", you just have to be ready to give it a try (and ready for a laugh). We demonstrate, practice and call dances to suit the overall crowd - and there are always experienced dancers to follow.
A Laldie Ceilidh is intense, relentless and sweaty traditional dance fun. Come along in a group, come along with a partner, come along on your own - there are lots of opportunities for mixing and dancing with other people. That's part of ceilidh culture.
Licensed Bar (cashless). Doors open 7:30pm, dancing from 8pm, ends 11pm.
Note that tickets are on sale both at the venue's website https://assemblyroxy.com/whats-on and at Eventbrite. These are separate ticket allocations. One source may sell out before the other.
