Scotland's folk song sensation, multi award-winner Siobhan Miller is joined by her acclaimed, five-piece band for a set spanning her impressive discography of five critically acclaimed albums.
Renowned for a huge live energy and out-and-out joy of their arrangements and performances, the Siobhan Miller Band has become renowned for freewheeling, feel-good folk - as seen in venues UK-wide, including Glasgow’s iconic Barrowland Ballroom, to festival main stages such Denmark’s legendary Tønder Festival, the Cambridge Folk Festival, and the Hebridean Celtic Festival on the Isle of Lewis, amongst countless others.
Accompanied by a stellar five-piece ensemble, Siobhan is joined by some of Scotland's most sought-after musicians, including guitarist Innes White, award-winning fiddler Charlie Stewart, drummer Louis Abbott (Admiral Fallow, Kris Drever), pianist Tom Gibbs, and bassist Euan Burton.
Bloom, Siobhan's 2022 masterpiece, enchants with timeless melodies and standout tracks like 'I’m a Rover' and 'Queen of Argyll,' blending traditional charm with modern influences. Her beloved version of 'The Ramblin' Rover,' from 2017’s Strata, has amassed over 10 million streams worldwide and become a fan favourite and a mainstay of her captivating live performances.
Immersed in Scotland's rich folk scene, Siobhan has been a standout performer at Glasgow's Celtic Connections festival, sharing the stage with legendary artists in Transatlantic Sessions. She has also taken the musical director baton on large, flagship projects at the festival. Her remarkable solo career boasts four BBC Alba Scots Trad Music Awards and a prestigious BBC Radio 2 Folk Award for the best traditional track. All five of her albums have been shortlisted for BBC Alba’s STMA album of the year.
