2025 marks a century since the four artists, FC Cadell, JD Fergusson, SJ Peploe, GL Hunter, known as the Scottish Colourists exhibited together as a quartet for the first time in London. Alice Strang, Curator of the National Galleries of Scotland’s Scottish Colourist series of exhibitions, will discuss the ebb and flow of their individual and group reputations in the intervening years, not least in light of their positioning within British art history in The Scottish Colourists: Radical Perspectives.
Entry to The Scottish Colourists: Radical Perspectives is included in the price of this ticket, access to the exhibition will be from 16:30, before the talk starts at 17:30.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
