Introducing the Drinkmonger Cocktail Club.
Let us bring the bar to you (via our shop) and demonstrate how easy it is to make great cocktails at home. Each cocktail club evening will include a minimum of three full cocktails made from a particular spirit base and will be hosted by a local cocktail expert.
For our first event we are delighted and very excited to have Jason Scott owner of Bramble, The Last Word and Lucky Liquor bars to host. Jason will prepare and talk us through three cocktails using his very own Seawolf Scottish White Rum, no doubt mixed with some of his equally fantastic Lucky Liqueurs.
Bramble, established in 2006, is respected worldwide in the bar industry having been consistently voted into the Top 50 World Cocktail Bars. Jason and his business partner Mike Aikman have also just received the SLTN Award for Industry Achievement in recognition of their dedication to innovative drinks and quality service across all their establishments. During the evening we will hear about the trials and tribulations of running and maintaining a successful bar business, learn about Seawolf rum and the rum category, along with a brief history and current state of play of the cocktail scene. There will even be the opportunity for you to have a go and make your own cocktail.
