Are you new to whisky and unsure where to begin? Have you received a surprise bottle as a gift recently and need guidance? Or are you simply keen to gain a better initial understanding of the bewildering array of factors involved in making whisky? If so, then this is an evening for you! Let our Royal Mile Whiskies shop manager Mark guide you through the difference between a single malt and a blend. Learn how smoke and barrel choice effects flavour and most importantly sample some tasty drams.
This will be an informal, educational evening for you to discover all those things about whisky that have never been quite fully explained. We want you to come along and feel comfortable to ask any queries and questions you have knowing that no matter how daft they may seem, we will address them in a friendly, welcoming and relaxed manner. Our passion for whisky includes the desire to share our knowledge and pass on our enthusiasm for this great product.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
