It was in 2013, after a project initiated by Udo Reinemann around Schubert and the voice, that was created the Ensemble Sésame, intended to promote chamber music in all its forms, through concerts, interdisciplinary projects, educational initiatives and regular work with contemporary composers.
The musicians of Ensemble Sésame have recorded Bartók’s duos for NoMadPlay and, more recently, the complete instrumental chamber music of Maurice Ravel for NoMadMusic, a triple CD which has met with immense success in the French and international press (Choc de Classica, 5étoiles Melómano Digital, 5 Diapasons…).
Naaman Sluchin (violin), Maitane Sebastián (cello) and Julien Le Pape (piano) from the Ensemble Sesame will honor us with a musical tour in Scotland : on Thursday 6 March at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, and on Friday 7 March at the Institut français d’Écosse in Edinburgh. Let yourself be transported by their musical programme of compositions by Maurice Ravel and Claude Debussy!
This event is organized as part of the Mois de la Francophonie 2025
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
