Taking place Thursday 25th- Sunday 28th September 2025, the four-day event will be hosted at the O2 Academy Edinburgh, the first time the festival has come to Scotland.
Following on from a hugely successful Lost Evenings in Toronto in September, which was the biggest one yet – and previous sold-out years in London, Berlin, Boston and Anaheim – the multi-stage event will occupy many rooms of the venue providing a full programme of live music, panels, workshops and more.
As is always the case at Lost Evenings, each night of the festival will see a completely different headline show from Frank, with songs from every era and album. The opening night on Thursday 25th September Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls will play a Back In The Day set, performing favourites and rarities from his back catalogue. Friday 26th September will see Frank and Matt Nasir perform an Acoustic Duo set. On the Saturday (27th September) night, Frank and the band celebrate the tenth anniversary of Frank’s sixth studio album ‘Positive Songs For Negative People’. And then for the last night on Sunday 28th September the band will play a Greatest Hits set to close the festivities.
Running concurrently across the weekend will be the Nick Alexander Stage. Named after the merchandise manager and long-time friend of Frank’s, who was tragically killed in the Paris, Bataclan attack in 2015 – the stage plays host to some of the best emerging acts – personally selected by Frank. The full line-up of acts for the two stages will be announced in due course.
Augmenting the evening live performances will be a full programme of additional activities under the banner of ‘Last Minutes’. These include pop-ups, open mic sessions and the Xtra Mile Recordings daytime showcase as well as panels, masterclasses and workshops where leading industry insiders, musicians, experts and music professionals offer insight and advice to audiences. More information to come.
Lost Evenings won the AIM Best Independent Festival award in 2017.
