Lind & Lime Gin is the very first spirit produced by The Port of Leith Distillery Co. at their Tower Street Stillhouse in Edinburgh. It certainly stands out from the crowd with its stunning bottle design, but also tastes amazing. Meet Connie, their Brand Ambassador, to find out more and taste their gin.
This Scottish gin is distilled using a carefully curated recipe of 7 botanicals and at 44% ABV, it is a gin with punch, a peppery heat and a hint of zest. Named after Dr James Lind who discovered that citrus fruits helped to cure scurvy. His pioneering clinical trials on board Navy ships in the 18th Century led to remarkable health improvements of sailors during this time. Lind & Lime Gin is inspired and pays tribute to this unsung Scottish hero.
The Port of Leith Distillery Co. is currently building the first ever vertical distillery in Leith producing whisky as well as their gin. Situated next to The Royal Yacht Britannia, this distillery is set to be a key tourist attraction in Edinburgh. Find out all about it at this free tasting.
