The LNER Big Wheel returns to East Princes Street Gardens to give passengers a unique perspective of our spectacular city.
Enjoy the comfort of the enclosed and weather-proof pods with incredible views of the historic Old Town, Edinburgh Castle and Arthur’s Seat, and sparkling evening views of Edinburgh’s Christmas attractions.
One ride on the Big Wheel won’t be enough!
Edinburgh residents with proof of their EH postcode will receive a 20% discount.
Family tickets are also available. Family tickets are valid for four people with a maximum of 2 adults.
Tickets are valid for one visit at any time on your selected date.
Open 10:00—22:00 pm (last admission 21:30 pm). Tickets are date-specific, but there are no set time slots—admission is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please allow extra time if you plan to attend during busy periods.
Each pod can fit up to 6 people – at peak times you may be required to share with others, pods are not exclusive.
An adult ticket holder must accompany children 13 and under. If you can toddle, a ticket is required.
The Big Wheel pods can accommodate manual wheelchair users.
