Description for Sara’s classes (Nov 18th, Dec 9th)
Join this all-levels Croft Yoga class, a slow-flow Vinyasa practice designed to nurture body, mind, and spirit. Sara's Teacher bio:
Sara Meyers completed her multistyle yoga teacher training at Kashish Yoga in Goa, India in 2019. She considers yoga to be a practice that extends far beyond the yoga mat; she sees yoga as something that you can incorporate into almost any aspect of your life. Sara wrote her Masters dissertation on the role that yoga can play in undergoing a worldview and values examination in order to live a life more aligned with our values and more aware of our impact on the planet. She hopes to guide us through an hour where we all take what we need from our yoga practices. She hopes to see you soon for croft yoga!
Description for Catherine's class (Nov 25th, Dec 2nd and 16th): Catherine will guide you through an all-levels hatha practice that aims to bring balance to the body and mind. Her classes will be aligned with the seasons and moon cycles to help us feel more rooted and connected with nature. These classes will be suitable for all levels, and variations will be offered to help you practise in a way that feels right for your body. Catherine aims to honour the roots of yoga, which extend far beyond asanas (yoga poses). Her classes will include meditation and pranayama (breathwork), as well as sun or moon salutations and a series of standing, seated and supine asanas.
What to bring to Catherine's class:
Please wear clothing you feel comfortable in and bring your own mat.
Catherine's Teacher Bio: After practising yoga for over a decade, Catherine completed her 200-hour multi-style teacher training at the World Peace Yoga School in Bali, Indonesia in Spring 2024. Catherine likes to practise yoga in a way that aligns with the seasons and cycles of the moon, and hopes our practice together will help you feel more connected with nature and more balanced in your body and mind. Catherine believes that yoga should be for everyone, and aims to create a welcoming and inclusive space that honours the roots of yoga.
