Over 11 hours of fantastic live music will be performed by 12 talented Edinburgh-based bands, as they take on all 13 albums by The Beatles to raise money for the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation.
Hosted at the Portobello Town Hall to the east of Edinburgh, this family-friendly day out is the perfect way to spend your Saturday, with musical entertainment, food and drink, children's entertainment, and much more on offer.
The Beatles Marathon UK started last year, in memory of Pat McGachan - the father of co-founders Stuart and Scott. Pat was a huge fan of The Beatles throughout his life, but sadly passed away after a two year battle with Motor Neuron Disease. Money raised through The Beatles Marathon UK will go to the My Name'5 Doddie Foundation, which supports those suffering from MND - and their families - and finances much needed research into the life-ending disease.
