Writer and artists Jim Zub and Doug Braithwaite who have recently worked together on the latest Conan the Barbarian comic series as well as many other projects are doing a special signing at the Forbidden Planet Edinburgh store, where they will sign issues of their work.
Jim Zub is a writer, artist and art instructor based in Toronto, Canada. Over the past twenty years he’s worked for a diverse array of publishing, movie and video game clients including Marvel, DC Comics, Disney, Capcom, Hasbro, Cartoon Network, and Bandai-Namco.
His current comic projects include acting as the flagship writer for Conan the Barbarian, the monthly adventures of Robert E. Howard’s legendary sword & sorcery hero.
Doug Braithwaite is a British comic book artist and began his career working in the British comics industry starting with 2000 AD and A1; later he worked on Marvel's Earth X sequels, Universe X and Paradise X (with Alex Ross and Jim Krueger).
Braithwaite was one of 62 comics creators who appeared at the IGN stage at the Kapow! convention in London to set two Guinness World Records, the Fastest Production of a Comic Book, and Most Contributors to a Comic Book.
