Absolute Weller has been created as a labour of love by Martin and Norrie (previously of Absolute Jam) on bass and drums, our good buddy Shug (Start/Absolute Jam) on keys, and we are honoured to have been joined by big Graham (The Sectors) as frontman and the wonderous Stevie Black (Ocean Colour Scheme) on lead guitar.
As the name suggests, this expanded repertoire encapsulates all the music from the entire career of Mr. Weller, and allows us to include solo classics such as 'You Do Something to me' and 'Broken Stones' as well as Style Council hits such as 'You're the Best thing', 'Shout to the top' and 'My Ever changing moods', as well as the usual smattering of Jam hits like 'Town Called Malice', 'Start' and 'Going Underground'.
Should be another cracking night at The Dreadnought but only if you nab a ticket in advance to guarantee your spot also shows you are coming to support the band and venue.
