Unlock the meaning behind digital interactions!
Join us in the customer restaurant to explore the fascinating world of digital communication and online interactions! Our interactive activities will teach you about mentalisation – the ability to understand intentions, feelings and desires behind our social interactions. The event will be run by members from the Contextual Mental Health research group from the University of Edinburgh.
Activities include:
· Matching Game: Think you can decode the emotions behind a text message? Test your skills in our fun, fast-paced matching game and discover the hidden nuances of online communication.
· Emoji Interpretation: Do emojis speak the same language for everyone? Pair up with a friend or family member to see if you can match each other’s interpretations of different emojis!
· Ambiguous Texts Challenge: Can you read between the lines? Discover how context can change the meaning of text messages.
Come along with the whole family and explore the fascinating world of mentalisation with us!
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
