Scottish Youth Film Festival 2024
The 10th edition of the Scottish Youth Film Festival will be held at Armadale Academy, in Armadale, West Lothian on the 4th and 5th of October 2024.
Yes, we're back where we started in 2015 to celebrate Scotland's young filmmakers and to host a variety of film screenings, talks, practical demos, panels, the ever popular Universally Challenged Quiz and the Awards.
Host: Scottish Youth Film Foundation (SYFF)
October 4th (6pm-9pm):
Exclusive event for 19-26 year-olds featuring a catered networking opportunity with industry professionals, a screening of shortlisted films and an awards ceremony. This event is designed to encourage networking and collaboration between emerging and established filmmakers.
October 5th:
Open to ages 12-26, the festival offers hands-on workshops in Acting, Screenwriting, Sound, TV Directing, Animation, Editing, Costume and Hair & Makeup. Highlights include a careers Q&A, a film quiz, screenings of shortlisted films, an awards show and a live TV round-up. One-on-one sessions with industry professionals will also be available.

The event is free, but general admission tickets are required. Workshop tickets are limited and must be obtained separately.
