About The Marketing Mixer Scotland

Scotland’s marketing community deserves better events, so we created one.

Welcome to The Marketing Mixer, a monthly meet-up for people working in brand, digital, creative, and comms from agency, in-house, freelance, or somewhere in between. Each month, we alternate between Glasgow and Edinburgh, with practical talks, honest insights, and time to connect over drinks and pizza.

If you haven’t already, be sure to follow our LinkedIn page for the latest updates.

We’re pleased to have UK Debt Expert sponsoring this event — they’re kindly covering the pizza and drinks, so feel free to thank them on the night! 🍕

Navigating the Future of Marketing Talent

The marketing talent landscape is evolving faster than ever. As organisations contend with multi-generational teams, the integration of AI, shifting consumer behaviours, and increasingly complex regulations, the question remains: how do we attract and retain exceptional marketing talent—today and tomorrow?

The night will explore how forward-thinking firms can build resilient teams by nurturing in-house talent while strategically recruiting specialists to meet emerging demands. We’ll dive into the ongoing debate of specialists vs. generalists, and what balance is needed for long-term success in a constantly shifting environment.

We’ll also unpack the essential leadership qualities required to inspire and guide teams through change—fostering curiosity, adaptability, and a culture of continuous development.
