Find out about the Mansion's connection with far-off lands. Enjoy a walking tour from researchers at the University of Edinburgh who will be sharing their latest findings about the Mansion, gardens and surrounding farmland. (11.30am)
See a beautiful performance by Oxana Banshikova - Director of Cosmic Dance School - who will offer a dance interpretation of the connection of the Mansion to India, accompanied by live musician. (12pm)
Learn about the rare heritage trees on site with horticulturalist Alex Ebeling. (From 12.30 on demand)
Hot lunch in the walled gardens provided by our sister charity @transitionedinburghsouth (12.30 - 1.30)
Hear stories about the myths and legends of the trees and have your chance to share your memories with our resident storyteller Jane Mather. (From 1pm on demand)
Bring along your garden's harvest to share and try some of ours!
And for the kids there will be orienteering (ESOC) and circus skills (Adam Boardman) on between 11 - 3pm!
