Hobz specialises in naturally-fermented bread and champions the use of British grown grains, which has cemented its reputation in the Scottish bakery scene. At Hobz Bakery, everything is crafted in-house, from unleavened bread to Viennoiseries and sandwiches using locally-sourced ingredients. The bakery's success is attributed to its careful sourcing practices: flour from Scotland the Bread and berries for tarts and pastries from Phantassie Farm in East Lothian. Meat is sourced from Butchery at Bowhouse, while New Barns Brewery stout is used in the Rye bread. It was also recently awarded La Liste’s Bakery Award.
Tiny Changes charity, founded in 2020 supports young leaders to run innovative youth mental health projects in their communities.
