Declared “Folk with attitude”; Rosa Good brings an enchanting blend of mesmerising vocals and uplifting guitar. Her soulful, heartfelt, and captivating songs have honest and raw lyrics, and hooks that will have you singing along.
Hailing from Scotland and now calling New Zealand home, Rosa’s performance has influences intertwined from both bonnie countries. Inspiration drawn from plethora of genres, anything from blues to grunge; from Nirvana to Eva Cassidy, Rolling Stones to The Beatles. A thoroughly compelling unique voice and style.
Whether at one of her sold-out intimate performances or on the big stage at a festival; Rosa’s songs will speak to you, leaving you with a sense of belonging and feeling heard. An alluring performance crafted by 20 years of experience.
Forever weaved in the Scottish and New Zealand music scene; Rosa first showcased her talents onstage at age 14, she studied sound engineering and production, worked with audio for over a decade, and organised gigs for herself and other musicians along the way.
A proud lyricist, Rosa has written lyrics, poetry and stories since she could lift a pencil. Writing has always been an escape from reality, an outlet flowing from within, a therapy; processing, understanding, and letting go of emotions and experiences though songs. Come on a journey with this wayfaring musician who has found a home in all corners of the world.
Coinciding with this event, Rosa is extremely proud to present her first solo EP.
"Don't Disturb the Birds" is a collection of recent songs depicting a real shift in perspective and growing; emotional realisations, healthier attitude towards relationships of all kinds, and the importance of communicating and of holding a strong community.
