Timeless, hilarious comedy, adapted from the well-known Moliere’s comedy The Bourgeois Gentleman. It's a story about French tradesman who obsessively aspires to move within the higher circles of society. Desperate about becoming a proper gentleman he will stop at nothing to make his desire come true... Shame, financial ruin, and even a scandalous love affair!
But behind the obvious satire to an idea of social climbing which is a glimpse of seventeenth century France, Moliere’s Garden party sets up a serious, up-to-date question about one’s identity and importance of feeling comfortable in own skin..? Also, how far we can go to achieve them...?Still a grand comedy with Lady Gaga's covers on baroque instruments by the Vitamin String Quartet in the background.
Lots of fun guaranteed!
