The seven stages of grief are a familiar concept to those who are grieving, have grieved or will grieve. Do they feel slightly alien and out of reach to you? Do you wish you could face each stage and meet them eye to eye, and understand them? Amber is going through this process. Each stage presents themselves to her, shock, denial, anger, bargaining, depression, testing and acceptance.
