About Jewellery Class - Make a Sea Glass Ring

Join me in this beginner level jewellery class to make your own sea glass ring in sterling silver. Suitable for complete beginners or those who have done one of my other beginner level classes, this short course in my Edinburgh workshop will show you all the steps to make your own beautiful, unique sea glass ring.
You can choose a piece of sea glass from my collection or bring along your own sea glass (I will check and let you know if its suitable to use). I will provide more information on what might be suitable in the joining instructions after you book the class.
During the class I will cover:
- identifying your ring size
- shaping and forming a ring
- sawing
- soldering
- making a bezel setting for your sea glass
- setting the sea glass into the bezel
- filing and sanding for a beautiful finish
- annealing
- adding texture
- polishing
The price includes the sterling silver required to make the silver ring and bezel setting, plus sea glass should you require it.
I will have a steady stream of tea and coffee available throughout the class and some yummy home baked cake at the end.
