No stranger to Wine Events Scotland, Bruce Jack Wines, hailing from the very southern tip of South Africa is one of the most dynamic and exciting wine producers of South Africa.
We are thrilled to be holding an incredibly special Wine Workshop with the great man himself.
Bruce is a fascinating walking encyclopaedia when it comes to history, geology, science, carbon sequestration, sustainability and of course winemaking. We’ll hear how Chile was once connected to South Africa and why Robe in Australia has exactly the same soil composition as Bruce’s Elim vineyards.
Whilst we had a Bruce Jack Wine Workshop in January, having heard Bruce was in Edinburgh I couldn’t resist another, giving the opportunity for many to meet the man behind the wines. We’ll have a completely different selection of wines to enjoy, including Ghost in the Machine Cabernet Franc which won Best Cabernet Franc Blend in the World in The Global Wine Masters last month.
Location: The Hotel du Vin in the stunning Burke & Hare Room.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
