Sandy Tweeddale has been a part of the Scottish Blues scene since he started the band The Blue Hyenas back in 1990.
He played and toured with the band for about 10 years, opening up for the likes of Buddy Guy, Peter Green, Bert Jansch and Blues N Trouble.
Blues N Trouble subsequently asked him to join the band in 2000/2001 and he was a part of the band for 14 years.
During this period, he started to work with the great Scottish singer Maggie Bell and he still works with her today.
Sandy has also been a part of Tim Elliott and the Troublemakers, Brandon Santini band and Earl Thomas and Giles Robson. He has supported the likes of Robert Cray, Jack Bruce, Van Morrison, Eric Burdon, Canned Heat, Bill Wyman's rhythm Kings and Kris Kristofferson …..to name a few.
