xfire presents Blackfyre Rising plus Human Renegade + In Charge
Formed in 2018 in Edinburgh, Scotland, hard rock outfit Blackfyre Rising have been slowly moving up the musical ladder in Scotland, gathering a solid following and growing from strength to strength. Combining a wide array of influences such as Black Stone Cherry, Alter Bridge, and The Winery Dogs, this is a band that combines punchy and groovy riffs with strong melodies and catchy hooks. Something you don't want to miss out on!
The band have played shows alongside touring bands including Twister, Loz Campbell, Novustory and Kira Mac, which has seen them play all over Scotland. From headline shows at Bannermans in Edinburgh and Krakatoa in Aberdeen, to support shows at The Garage in Glasgow and The Tooth&Claw in Inverness. The band also made it through to the Grand Final of Metal2TheMasses 2023, a contest where the prize was being able to play Bloodstock Festival 2023, which took place at La Belle Angele in Edinburgh. The band played two earlier heats in order to get to the final, which were held at Dreadnought in Bathgate and then at Nice N Sleazy in Glasgow.
In 2022 the band finally released their first single 'Chainbreaker' and on July 16th 2023 they released their second single 'Play It Dirty' on all platforms, which was then followed by 'Sacrifice'.
