Every two hours, a man in the UK takes his own life. Those who survive a suicide attempt often face stigma and blame.
'A Little While Longer’ is a short documentary that follows three male suicide attempt survivors, coming together on the Isle of Arran for three days, to share their stories of struggle, survival and resilience.
Supported by the See Me Scotland Anti-Stigma Fund and created by filmmakers Tom van den Hurk, a suicide attempt survivor himself, and Dr Isa Rao, a cognitive neuroscientist, ‘A Little While Longer’ is a wake-up call to break the silence and end the stigma surrounding suicide.
This evening will be part of the Launch of the powerful film "A Little While Longer", with some opportunity to chat about mental health issues in a safe space.
Pizza from Civerinos and Non alcoholic beer by Jumpship Brewing is provided.
