This session is an introduction into the core principles of functional breathing.
Functional breathing can be defined as a breathing pattern that supports a healthy mind and body.
In this session we will learn how to assess our current breathing and learn some of the fundamentals of a good breath.
The benefits of good breathing are :
- stress reduction and resilience
- relaxation
- lower heart rate and blood pressure
- calm and present mind
- control of your state
- regulation of your nervous system
