Join Emma Stead, Curator at the Palace of Holyroodhouse, and Dr Emanuela Patti, Lecturer in Italian at the University of Edinburgh and Principal Investigator of the Royal Society of Edinburgh Project ‘David Rizzio: An Italian at the Scottish Court’, to explore the extraordinary story of David Rizzio in this in conversation event. Learn more about the man behind the infamous tale and the ways in which his legacy has endured to this day, before exploring for yourself the historic rooms in which the dramatic events took place.
