About Martina Petrova - Music on the Mezzanine
Martina, a young musician from Bulgaria, decided to pursue her musical dreams in Edinburgh, where she is currently in the fourth year of her Music degree at the University of Edinburgh.
Martina started singing at 3 and Piano at 5. Martina has played in various musical ensembles and performed in competitions both nationally, internationally and also appearing in “The Voice” of Bulgaria in 2019. Martina is studying jazz piano with Alan Benzie and performing as a vocalist with the E.U. Jazz Orchestra and the E.U. ACappella Society.
From pop and jazz to bossa nova rhythms and funky grooves, her performance for piano and voice encompasses a plethora of modern musical genres, each expertly arranged to showcase their unique qualities and nuances.
