The exhibition presents botanical paintings and drawings by members of the Scottish Society of Botanical Artists (SSBA) along side sculptures by Ellen McCann.
The SSBA promotes and encourage botanical art in Scotland. It is an inclusive organisation whose membership ranges from those relatively new to Botanical art to professional artists.
For this exhibition they took their inspiration from plants found in the wild in Scotland, wild flowers, ferns, trees and weeds.
The paintings are accompanied by ceramic sculptures by Ellen McCann which are inspired by plants in transition, gently opening up, inviting us to imagine what they might become.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
