About StillMarillion
StillMarillion are Europe's tribute band dedicated to the music of the British progressive rock band Marillion. Formed in 2008 and from Scotland, the home of Fish, the band is fronted by Martin Jakubski who also sings with the Steve Rothery band. The beating heart of the band consists of experienced musicians who share a passion for Marillion's music and seek to recreate the band's sound and energy in their live performances.
StillMarillion's repertoire includes many of Marillion's most beloved songs, such as "Kayleigh," "Lavender," and "Script for a Jester's Tear," as well as deeper cuts and B-sides. They strive to faithfully reproduce the complex instrumentation and dynamic arrangements of Marillion's music, while also infusing their own unique style and interpretation.
They have toured extensively throughout UK since 2009 and even further into Germany and The Netherlands.
StillMarillion have built a loyal following of fans who appreciate their dedication to the music of Marillion, as a band they honor and celebrate the legacy of Marillion, keeping their music alive for nights of banter and fun, good company and good cheer, of exquisite sonic salvos and expert musical deliveries to a full-throated and responsive audience.
