Wreath Making Boat Trip is 2 hour long boat trip on the canal boat Lochrin Belle cruising through Union Canal while Margon van Tuyl will run wreath making workshop using natural and foraged materials.
You will learn how to use materials foraged from nature to design and create your own eco-friendly one-of-a-kind wreath. The boat will leave promptly from Edinburgh Quay and return to the same location. Please arrive 5-10 minutes before the start time. The boat will not wait for you if you are late.
Price includes 2h boat trip, materials and tuition of wreath designing and making, your own eco-friendly one-of-a-kind wreath, festive refreshments.
About the tutor - Margon is passionate about the outdoors and getting children, young people and adults in the outdoors to connect with nature in local greenspaces.
She is Forest School trained and has been involved with the Green Team for over 20 years as a volunteer and now as a member of staff , supporting Primary schools in Edinburg with outdoor learning.
The Green Team is a small Edinburgh based charity, whose aim is to connect children, young people and adults with nature, each other and themselves through outdoor activities and practical conservation work.
