Shh! Let’s get naked! Stripped! is a new quiet live music club in Edinburgh. No need for earplugs or staying up late. Low key, low decibels. Naked pop/indie/folk songs, stripped to the bare minimum. Free entrance, and you can donate what you can - without being judged.
Aino Elina [i know Elina] - This Edinburgh based BBC Radio Scotland single of the week singer-songwriter is originally from Lapland, Finland. Intriguingly, Aino Elina sings in both her native Finnish and in English, combining ethereal, folky vocals with an engaging stage presence to create luminous Nordic pop to bounce and float along to. This first Stripped! will also be the live launch party for Aino Elina’s latest single, Hold on. Her indie electro pop songs will be stripped to acoustic versions for the occasion, and accompanied with Isla Pitkethly on cello and Cristiano Mantovanelli on vibraphone.
Hydroponics is a Scottish instrumental folk band, stripped from 4 musicians to 2 for the occasion.
Stripped! is a new quiet pop/indie/folk club. An hour of stripped versions of original songs. More like a concert than a gig. Think pillows, blankets, candles, starry sky and relaxing by a fireplace.
