Inspired by the mythical sea creatures in traditional Folklore, Arria music is fluid, moving effortlessly through genres of Folk, Acoustic, Electronic, Soul, Jazz and Blues. Her songs tell of a spiritual journey out of personal crisis and into the light of self-knowledge, feeling part of the world and also gaining wisdom from lifes cruelty and the cunning traps of the mind.
Her songs hold Universal appeal and move through the beauty, complexity and simplicity of every day things. With a song dedicated to Midland Bluebird Buses (McGills) a song of independence, of welcoming refugees, boasting of our national drinks (Irn Bru, Whiskey), and of the developing tourism in her home-town of Falkirk, Arria writes and delivers songs designed to draw hope, courage, inclusivity and renovation (recovery)
Distinctively Scottish, Unique and Soulful, playing Classical Guitar, Piano and Synthesisers as well as designed pre-produced backing tracks that give her song the musical storytelling depth to set the scene for a Scottish Sea Siren who is guided by Angelic Forces and ready to tell her story to land-dwelling Folk with an ear to hear.
