This is a different kind of garden walking tour about Edinburgh's history of women in gardening. Beyond one’s own garden, professional gardening, garden design and horticulture used to be the domain of men. Come on this fabulous walking tour through historic gardens.
Come to hear the stories of the women who broke through the hedges to make an impact on the gardens of Edinburgh and further afield.
Each tour run by Love Life More Tours & Events has a unique style. They are all interactive - we would love to hear your views and heroic gardening stories. Your guide is a passionate gardener.
This tour is open to all.
Time: Sundays at 2pm - about 1.5 hours
At other times, you can select this as a private tour of 1.5 hours or 3 hours. - please contact us.
Meet outside the front door of the Queen’s Gallery at the Palace of Holyrood House, Canongate, bottom of the Royal Mile

Price: £18 per adult, £9 per child, £12 per student
The child price is for children of 15 years or younger
The student price is for full-time students of any age 16 years or above - please bring your student card.
If you enjoy the tour, tips to the guide are highly appreciated.
