Cancercard is an amazing charity. They know that everyone’s experience of cancer is unique and at various points it can be difficult to know where to go to for help. The team at Cancercard have worked tirelessly to launch an online support hub which provides useful resources for cancer patients, their partners, families, employers and friends. The Cancercard directory has easy search and filtering options to help people with all types of cancer access local and national cancer support and services.
The next step where Cancercard's fundraising is focussed …. is providing a person to talk to when you need it.
With that in mind, on 18th November at the luxurious 5 star Balmoral Hotel in Edinburgh you have a great opportunity to support Cancercard by coming along to the Autumn Ball.
There will be a welcoming drinks reception, a piper, introductions from Cancercard founder Jen Hardy MBE, followed by a beautiful three-course dinner, complemented by wine. We are thrilled to have Zara Janjua as a guest host. Zara is a Scottish Sun columnist, BBC Radio Scotland 'Sunday Morning' presenter - a familiar face on TV and voice on radio and podcasts.
There will be an amazing fundraising auction, a raffle, live band, dancing and the promise of an unforgettable evening. Tickets are £100, every penny raised will help Cancercard.
Dark nights and sparkly lights, arguably when Edinburgh is at its best. Enjoy an evening of entertainment, delicious food, dancing with an atmosphere that only the Balmoral can provide. Come alone, bring a friend, or do you have employees or clients that you would like to say thank you to? then consider a table at our autumn ball. A fabulous opportunity to deepen your connections and do good at the same time.
