Lead by Edinburgh Art Festival, the Community Wellbeing Centre in partnership with SCORE Scotland at Wester Hailes will be hosting their community carnival on Saturday 8th July.
About Wester Hailes Community Carnival Showcase: Health, joy and healing
Join Edinburgh Art Festival in partnership with Edinburgh Festival Carnival, SCOREscotland and the Community Wellbeing Collective (CWC) for the Wester Hailes Community Carnival Showcase: Health, Joy and Healing on the Saturday 8 July, 2-5pm.
This celebration is the culmination carnival-inspired workshops - MACS (Motivation Art Culture Stories) After-school Club led by artist Khadea Santi in collaboration with CWC members Sindy Santos and Heather Marufu and workshops for SCOREscotland teens led by Khadea and CWC members Chantal Auguste, Cheri Caraballo and Kiesha Lancaster. It's a day for all of the family!
This event and workshops are supported by City of Edinburgh Council – Diversity and Inclusion Fund, Edinburgh Art Festival, Edinburgh Festival Carnival and SCOREscotland
Location: Outside Westside Plaza Shopping Centre, Wester Hailes Rd, Edinburgh EH14 2SW
