The Scottish Documentary Institute invites you to the exclusive Scottish premiere of the highly acclaimed documentary 'And, Towards Happy Alleys', an evocative exploration of resistance as a daily act of survival in Iranian society, drawing inspiration from the rich traditions of Iranian cinema and the powerful poetry of Forough Farrokhzad.
Award-winning filmmaker Sreemoyee Singh takes viewers on a transformative journey to Tehran, capturing the essence of a nation on the precipice of revolution.
Following the screening, we have the privilege of hosting Sreemoyee Singh herself for a live talk and lyrical performance, where she will delve into her unique and captivating filmmaking process.
Taking place on Sunday 18 June, 4:30PM @ the French Institute, Edinburgh.
