About Jewellery Class - Make a set of skinny stacking rings

Join me in this ring making class where you will learn to make a set of three different skinny stacking rings.

This Edinburgh based jewellery experience is aimed at complete beginners who have never made any jewellery before. Participants must be 16 or over and under 18 accompanied by an adult. Each workshop has a maximum of 4 people, you can book as an individual or a group. You will leave the class with 3 different skinny stacking rings.

During the class I will cover:

- how to size your fingers
- shaping and forming the ring
- sawing to create the perfect join
- soldering
- filing and sanding for a beautiful finish
- adding texture
- polishing

The price includes the sterling silver required to make 3 silver rings. You may wish to bring an apron to wear, although its not essential. We will have a tea and coffee break and some yummy homemade cake.

Where and when is the course?

In my Blackford, Edinburgh workshop in EH9. You can park outside in the private lane to the front of my workshop. If traveling by public transport buses 24 & 9 stop two minutes away. Buses from the centre of Edinburgh take about 20 minutes and run around every 15 minutes.
