This workshop, the official launch of the programme, will be taught by Mingyur Rinpoche and will focus on the transformative effect of meditation. Rinpoche will show us that we don't have to change ourselves in order to be happy — we simply need to discover what we already possess within.

There will also be panel discussions with world-renowned guest speakers and exponents of meditation, who will share anecdotes and scientific evidence detailing the benefits of developing a mediation practice.

Mingyur Rinpoche will be joined by Matthieu Ricard for a special opening event on Friday 30th June, and panel discussions, guided meditations and Q&A sessions will take place throughout the weekend. Other special guests include Matthieu Ricard
Prof Mark Williams (Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy)

Vidyamala Burch (founder of Breathworks)
Wendy Garling
Luke Doherty (winner of Innovations in Mindfulness Award)

It will also give you access to recordings of the main teachings and panel discussions for all timezones, which will be uploaded to the online event page and made available within 72 hours of the end of the event.

Why should I attend?
