This half-day taster at Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop on 27th May will introduce you to using clay and plaster to cast a shadow bas relief sculpture.
About Plaster Relief Taster with Duncan Robertson
This half-day taster will introduce you to using clay and plaster to cast a shadow bas relief sculpture. We will collect natural materials and objects to make a composition from them, experimenting with pressing them into the clay to build impressions and textures or abstract designs into the surface. Plaster will be poured into the mould, and once set, we will de-mould our reliefs.
Suitable for beginners.
