The Eastern Pennsylvania Chorale Society are on a UK tour to Scotland and Ireland in July with a date at St Giles Cathedral on the 21st!
About Eastern Pennsylvania Choral Society
The Eastern Pennsylvania Chorale Society was formed as the touring chorus of Schuylkill Choral Society and the Valley Choral Society both renowned Pennsylvania choruses. In 1991 the chorus embarked on its first European tour and received high praise in both the German and Austrian press. The chorus made two tours of Canada during 1995 and 1998.. During the 1994-1995 season, The Fiftieth Anniversary Commemorative World War II Concert brought national attention. The chorus was recognized by then United States President Bill Clinton for its recognition of veterans and its contributions to its community.
In 2010 the chorus toured Russia, Finland, and Estonia with members of the St. Petersburg orchestra including a performance in St. Petersburg and Moscow. In 2016 the chorus toured throughout Italy and France which included performances at St. Peter’s in the Vatican City and Notre Dame in Paris. The choir’s 2020 tour to Ireland and the UK was postponed twice due to Covid and so they are delighted to finally be en route to Ireland and Scotland in July 2023.
