Coronation Classics by Candlelight
On Coronation Day (Saturday 6th May 2023), King Charles III will formally begin his reign as our sovereign.
We celebrate this momentous event in British and world history with a touching candlelit and coronation-themed piano recital performed by award-winning pianist Matthew Shiel.
Tonight, at 7.30pm, this magnificent and historic 19th Century chapel is transformed by moonlight and candlelight into a place of royal inspiration as we reflect on the past, present and future of our monarchy and the significance it has played in the history of classical music.
Scones, jam and cream tea will be served in the interval to heighten the royal experience.
Royal balcony tickets are also available for those audience-goers who wish to enjoy this unforgettable concert from an impressive vantagepoint.
