As part of the Borrow A Researcher series in collaboration with Heriot-Watt University, West Lothian Council Libraries are hosting a range of Family Fridays across March 2023.
Almondbank Library are hosting researcher Dr Robert Adam on Friday March 3rd. In this family friendly workshop, we will be exploring the basics of British Sign Language and how to get started with this form of communication! The session is aimed at children aged 7+, and parents/carers are encouraged to join in to learn too!
Dr Adam is Assistant Professor in Languages and Intercultural Studies, which is part of Heriot-Watt University's School of Social Sciences. He joined the Department of Languages and Intercultural Studies in 2020.
