About Punch Needle - Design Your Own Coaster Workshop
Learn the basics of punch needle technique to design your own coaster.
Punch needle is a hand tufting technique often used to create rugs and wall hangings. In this workshop artist, Sophy Smith will teach you hand-tufting techniques and guide you through the design presses to create your own textured coasters.
Sophy describes hand tufting as “drawing with wool” making it the perfect textile progression from paper to fabric.
You will leave the workshop with your own punch needle tool and the base skills to continue your project at home
All materials will be provided on the day
